“Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength.”― Corrie ten Boom

How many times have you left your place of employment a totally nervous wreck with your thinking muddled, your sense of self in chaos and your usually easy-going style now dominated by uncontrollable thoughts of aggression and attack? I think we have all experienced this debilitating state of mind. There is hope. The gentleman in the photo above also had a bad day but rather than race home and give his fellow drivers the finger he decided to do the smart thing. He parked his car, sat on the curb and puffed away his anxiety with a cigarette. When he finally finished his puffing he drove away from the scene in a more calm and relaxed train of thought. — gc
