“The worst thing you want is a willy-nilly judge who is swayed by the political whims of the era or the time. What you want is a judge who is thinking about what he or she is doing and s thinking about it in a principled way. “ — Sonia Sotomayor

Do you remember in the good old days when Twitter was a means of social communications between friends, family and associates and lacked the harshness and injurious undertones that the current lame duck president Donald Trump has instilled into it?

At the outset of his disastrous presidential reign his tweets were considered political policy and practice and the nervous nation feared the omnipotent wrath that his clipped phrases and thoughts could possibly engender.

These days the nation has finally discovered that his clipped phrases and erratic ways of thinking are commonplace for a man self-absorbed into his own needs and image and not the good of the country he serves.

Four renown members of his economic council have recently severed their corporate ties with this megalomaniac whose recent antipathy to the events in the Charlottesville  riots have rankled the nerves and patience of the nation.

Folks are beginning to realize that his tweets are as frequent and as meaningless as a dog peeing on a nearby fire hydrant and just as smelly.

Trump is a user and the other members of his elite economic council should realize that they are there not to improve economic conditions but serve this self-centered despot.

Like the boy who  cried wolf one too many times Trump will finally have his snout rubbed in the media doo that will no longer serve as his personal sanctioning tool and public means of personal and political intimidation.

It is hoped that his small hands and tiny fingers will engage in a more productive past time such as knitting or crocheting a nice quilt for his Russian associates.  –  gc

Except for the diehard Trump supporters who will continue to sing his praises no matter what he does. The good news is that that group is shrinking, albeit slowly.
