Laundry for her always time consuming

The White Rabbit

“I’m late…I’m late …for a very important date…no time to say hello …goodbye..I’m late…I’m late…I’m late!” —  (Alice in Wonderland).

What do you do when you are a single mom with three teenage daughters to care for , a limited amount of free time and a laundry room with only one washer and two dryers to be shared by 16 other suites? You load up the family car and head to the nearest laundromat and hope that the machines there are available for you to use. This is the Sunday morning routine this woman has used for the past five weeks. A tip of the hat to her for her stamina and endurance. — gc

    • I have noticed that people who us this laundry facility are adding all types of “crap” to the dryers to make i work better for them. I always clean and wipe the machines before I ever use them .

Recently I found (1) a bio pack fastened to the dryer inner surface (2) the remnants of a fabric softener glued to the inner drum. Not the most welcoming of sites when you are hurrying to do your laundry.

The worst incident I happened upon happened when a tenant decided to dye something in the machine and left the bluing agent in the washer which spilled over into the dryer.

      Such is life huh?

  2. Your quote of the week is timely and spot on!
