Ambling along for some anonymity

“For some, the life journey has just started, for some, it is about to end; but in truth, there is no start and there is no end! There is just an ocean of particles playing aimlessly!” ― Mehmet Murat ildan

This guy ambling along with a partial bike chassis in his hands was scrambling this past weekend to hide the remnants  of a once serviceable bicycle that he and other members of his bike chop crew had operated on the weekend before.

His gang might be named the “Under the Tree Gang” because they skilfully hid a number of cycles not only in tree branches but also at the base of a large evergreen tree located beside the slimmer tree.

The past weekend was quiet as far as public displays of cycle repair were concerned but it seems these bad  guys are merely waiting an opportunity strike again.

Later this same day the guy with the bike in his hands and a female companion tried to visit their friend who resides on a fourth floor dwelling.

The woman was pushing a baby buggy carrying not an infant but a small portable television set which both of them were animatedly chatting with.

The couple did seem somewhat strange doing this but that unfortunately is life in the big city.  — gc

  1. Detective GC, on the job. I hear “Law and Order” theme music in the background.

  2. Oohing and cooing to the little TV in the buggy made me smile and it wasn’t too removed from their previous activity… Talking to the trees!
