Potential soccer partner does not relent

“We love being mentally strong, but we hate situations that allow us to put our mental strength to good use.” ― Mokokoma Mokhonoana

This lone soccer player tried his best to persuade a maintenance worker to abandon his main task of painting the soccer goal posts in an elementary school playground and play a rough and tumble game with him. For twenty minutes the youth kicked the ball near the worker’s area all to no avail. The worker left the site to paint another soccer site and the youth left probably disgruntled and discouraged. Oh well,  that’s how you play the game of life. — gc

  1. I see a few possible scenarios with this picture and one being… it was a ‘Take the son to work day’ but the boy became bored and wanted dad to play.. or maybe not!

  2. I guess there is a time and place for everything. We saw a few boys of different ages playing outside, impromptu basketball game when going to our inside BB practice. My daughter was remarking on the littlest one saying, “throw the mfing ball” sad to say it didn’t surprise me.
