He’s sprucing up a cluttered school yard

“If the bee disappeared off the face of the earth, man would only have four years left to live.”  Maurice MaeterlinckThe Life of the Bee

The warmer weather has a way of persuading many folks to spend more time out-of-doors. When this happens there is the likelihood that papers, serviette and paper towels will be carried by the summer breezes to destinations unknown. Shrubs and bushes are the likely recipients of this free blowing trash. The resulting collage of plant and refuse is not that attractive. Good Samaritans  like the guy in this photo are there to rectify and beautify the situation. Two thumbs up for his efforts. –gc

  3. I admire those whose volunteering efforts extend to a social responsibility for the environment. As for myself, I’m a professional volunteer, if no one else will I will, but I’m afraid even I would draw the line at clearing up the great outdoors!

    • I agree with you 100 per cent. But if you live on a main flor suite the winds blow this rubble frequently right into your porch area. SO I am grateful to this gentleman for picking up the tossed refuse of his neighbors. Thank you for you comment. 🙂
