True grit needed for this daily grind

“Life is messy. Grit and grace come at us fast, side by side. Sometimes the grit becomes overwhelming and diminishes our spirit. What’s good seems lost and gone forever.”  ― Sharon E. RaineyMaking a Pearl from the Grit of Life

Well okay pilgrim. This guy might not be the John Wayne character Rooster Cogburn depicted in the movies by the Duke but his lifestyle demands that he live by his wits, never say die and count the momentary blessings that come his way. Today was a warm one and he had just exchanged his bags of collected cans and bottles at the bottle depot  He was taking a well deserved break. Even though  He was resting and had counted his money he still kept his eye peeled for other financial opportunities. His is grit and determination modern-day style. – gc
