“The Tea Place” offers a quiet setting

“Writing is a job, a talent, but it’s also the place to go in your head. It is the imaginary friend you drink your tea with in the afternoon.” ―   Ann Patchett, Truth and Beauty

From time to time I do enjoy a good cup of tea.

I am not British but have over the years cultivated a palate willing to experiment with different blend of teas that are available.

Local supermarkets offer curious customers a very small selection of teas from which to choose.

I frequent one local mall that is the home of “The Tea Place”.

My favorite tea is an Earl Grey. They also have a vanilla flavored tea but I prefer the original with a splash or two of milk (not cream).

Outdoor seating and plush indoor accommodations are available here.

The staff is friendly and offer tips and techniques to successfully brew a cup of this beverage in your own home.

Tea is more than a three-letter word.

It represents a lifestyle that opens a person’s taste buds and experiences beyond the realm of a ht cuppa coffee. — gc
