“Maybe we ought to consider a Golden Rule in foreign policy: Don’t do to other nations what we don’t want happening to us. We endlessly bomb these countries and then we wonder why they get upset with us?” — Ron Paul Want, Why, Upset

Donald Trump, the current commander-in-chief for the United States of America ,is being evaluated as a “reactionary” president who lacks a solid foreign policy strategy and whose band-aid approach to solving global problems will only render his White House frenetic actions as acts of a desperate man trying to appease everyone and resolving nothing.
The US military yesterday dropped an enormous bomb in Afghanistan.
The percussive effect shown on video was impressive but the one drawback to the entire operation is that Trump really has no established and defined foreign policy to direct the might of his military forces.
Trump on the campaign trail repeatedly emphasized that he would not want the United States to become the policemen of the world but in the last week he has sanctioned a targeted air strike in Syria on an air base having little or no political impact. The targeted air field resumed its bombing runs with little collateral damage.
The president’s impromptu raids are deemed less hawkish than Hillary Clinton’s might have been.
A well planned and formalized foreign policy plan is a must have if the president does not want to waste tax payers money and public support for his well-intentioned but badly thought out military scenarios.
At this stage in time the country needs a leader who is a straight shooter and not a loose cannon. — gc
