Meaningless mumblings from White House

A gullible public

“People are so docile right now. It is almost as if good government means when the politicians lie to us for our own good, for the public good, and bad government is when politicians lie for their own selfish interests.” ––  James Bovard

Donald J. Trump, author of “The Art of The Deal” is proving each and every day that he is truly a blowhard, liar and egotist whose aims and ambitions are not based in reality but in a pseudo recreation of reality in which he is king of the universe and the rest of reality his chattel.

Those vainglorious campaign promises are now fizzing out as quickly as a tire impaled by a nail that is forcing the wheel rim and chassis to carry the load.

When will someone in government begin to question the man’s sanity and force a competent hearing to determine whether or not Mr Trump should remain in the Oval Office as president or mercifully be placed in a rubber room in which he can freely create his personal version of Shangri la?

If he ever has to react to a national crisis will he pass the buck to his vice president or will he man up , throw away his delusions and begin taking care of the country’s business?

Making America “Number One”  should not be indicative of something that is flushed down the toilet and discarded. — gc

  3. I’ve been trying very hard to think of a witty comment to equal that brilliant last line of yours Gerry, it was magic as was the article. However, you’ll be surprised to learn and perhaps relieved to hear that for once I’m lost for words!
