“When no power is vested in a turbulent man, he behaves sorrowfully like a nearly killed christmas goat, but when fully endorsed, without considering his level of insanity and evil gestures, he cuts everyone in the society into pieces.” ― Michael Bassey Johnson

Baksheesh or bagsheesh is tipping, charitable giving, and certain forms of political corruption and bribery in the Middle East and South Asia. In America it is known as “greasing the palm” of someone in power. It is frowned upon but it does get the job done.
President Trump seems to be a master manipulator. He listens attentively with a closed mind, enjoys tweeting his controversial opinions freely and recklessly and of course seems to deny the fact that he is an outright fibber who conned his way into the White House via hyperbole, empty promises and innuendo.
Is he a political asset or threat to the democratic process? Well, does a person of power alienate his country’s closest trading partners and allies, hurl unfounded accusations against another country’s intelligence service and then throw his most trusted news agency ( Fox News) under the bus when he has inadvertently misunderstood the content of their unofficial news commentator? I think not.
Is he rather a consummate liar who has perfected the Art of the Spiel and has become so adept at being accusatory and delusional that members of his own cabinet are beginning to doubt not only his sanity but also their very own for having been so ably hornswoggled by this inexperienced carpetbagger and acclaimed entrepreneur?
President Trump will become known as the man who maintained his popular appeal while using cunning, guile, half-truths and lies to have bamboozled a country demanding change and leadership.
Eventually his uniqueness will wear away and the public and Congress will appreciate the fact that he is merely a matchstick man trying to ignite the minds and hearts of his followers.
Pffft! A mere flash in the pan. — gc
