“You don’t like your job, you don’t strike. You go in every day and do it really half-assed. That’s the American way.” — Homer Simpson.

Do you think there is the slightest possibility that President Trump has finally become bored with his presidential position and is seeking a dignified way out of office by behaving in ways that truly defy logic and sanity?
With a little over 40 days in office this once brilliant billionaire mogul and entrepreneur has to be appreciating the fact that his wishes are not always carried out without question and that the American system of checks and balances will always try to reign in his at times maniacal quest for power and global dominion.
The poor sod by now must also realize that his rantings and ravings on Twitter have to be substantiated in fact and not fiction and that Hillary and Barack really don’t give a damn as to how much he believes his ravings to be true.
His unusual lashing out via his Twitter accounts have become so common placed and vehement that it is absolutely amazing that odds takers in Vegas do not start a Twitter pool giving gamblers a chance to clean up the house ( that’s the casino and not the W.H.)
By lashing out as he has he has literally open a can of worms that will not only tarnish his shaky credibility but also his ability to carry out the job of president of the country.
The public needs the truth and not tweets.
What is needed is a bipartisan and independent committee who will conduct a thorough and credible assessment of his wild assertions. This investigation could be conducted within congress and not necessarily involve a special prosecutor.
The way he and members of his select group in the Oval office are behaving it is as if they were slipped a few “roofies” and are having a difficult time remembering what exactly happened in important moments in their lives.
The truth may be stranger than fiction and this unrealistic scenario of drugged Trump groupies may become the norm and not the exception in this topsy-turvy White House. –gc
