“When we age we shed many skins: ego, arrogance, dominance, self-originated, unreliable, pessimism, rudeness, selfish, uncaring … Wow, it’s good to be old!” ― Stephen Richards

Do you think that President Trumps rantings and ravings and constant yammering on Twitter will eventually cease and desist with age?
Well, you need to accept the fact of life that he is an old man trying to do a younger man’s job while housed in the mindset of a child.
Remember Ebenezer Scrooge and how he ran roughshod not only on the folks that owed him money but also on Bob Cratchit the man who cared for his boss and tolerated his eccentricities.
We can probably liked Sean Spicer to the CratchIT role….blinding defending his boss from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune and realizing that over time the currently intimated rest will finally grow some spine and begin to do their job of exposing the WHite House for what it is and not wondering if the president still loves them.
The current crop of reporters are worrying more about what The Donald will write about them on social media rather than doing the work they rained for in journalism school: investigative reporting and telling the public what is happening in the now obscure Oval Office.
“Grumpy Old Men” should remain a movie comedy rather than the sad reality taking place in the White House. The reporters need to stop being intimidated by his capricious behavior and quite pandering to the White House. Report the news and quit mollycoddling the old dude.
Imagine this: If social media did not exist Trump would not even be a household name but a tolerated nuisance.- gc
