An over sight of wintery legerdemain

“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.” Anne Bradstreet, The Works of Anne Bradstreet

I almost missed this wintry sight until I climbed four flights of stairs and looked out the window to see the crafty way the hoar-frost had once again treated the observant eye to winter’s sleight-of-hand magic. Such an oversight on my part would have been inexcusable. Visual magic such as this should never go unappreciated. – gc

Quote of the week: “What is true is already so. Owning up to it doesn't make it worse. Not being open about it doesn't make it go away. And because it's true, it is what is there to be interacted with. Anything untrue isn't there to be lived. People can stand what is true, for they are already enduring it.” ― Eugene T. Gendlin, Focusing
