Taking a break to beat the Xmas stress

“Shopping is a woman thing.  It’s a contact sport like football.  Women enjoy the scrimmage, the noisy crowds, the danger of being trampled to death, and the ecstasy of the purchase.”  ~Erma Bombec

Have you ever felt like this clothing store mannequin and wished you could do a Mister (or Miss) Potato Head and sit down somewhere and gain your composure without attracting a large crowd of gawking onlookers as you did so? Well you are not alone.

“E N O U G H   I S   E N O U G H   A L R E A D Y”

As the shopping days before Christmas dwindle down to a precious few realize that you and ninety per cent of your fellow bargain hunters have waited until now to venture out and get the job done.

The stress of the season is there but remember that you are able to control these uneasy feelings by taking a few moments away from the treadmill of life, find a quiet spot or cozy restaurant and mellow out.

Taking a few crucial deep breaths might make your day a whole lot better. –  gc

  2. I am not a shopper at all. I do food shopping, but rarely shop in a store. I am lucky, however, to get discounted clothing from sellers.

  3. Good luck with keeping the stress levels down. I’m not a fan of shopping myself and have been avoiding the crowds. Luckily I don’t have to get many gifts and tend to sort things out beforehand to avoid doing it last minute 😊
