Snowmen and snow forts tend to vanish

“Happiness is not so much in having as sharing. We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”  —-   Norman MacEwan.

Snowmen and snow forts are essentially communal property. To properly assemble either of these two winter entities requires the efforts and enthusiasm of more than one person. A determined individual can get the snowball rolling but to actually construct the man himself you need help. It is a pastime that totally engages the participants in a pursuit that they all realize will disappear when the sun’s warming rays eventually melt their creation of love. –  gc
