Reaching lofty heights for roof repairs

“Some people see things that are and ask, Why? Some people dream of things that never were and ask, Why not? Some people have to go to work and don’t have time for all that. —  George Carlin

Is there a better time to do noisy roof and shingle repair then on a sunny Sunday morning at roughly 9:02 a.m.? These two gentlemen were in the mood to do the job despite the time of day. Saturday had been overcast, rainy and cold. I guess you can’t really fault them for wanting to get the job done before the snow begins to fall. The guy on the right was not letting off seam. He had just exhaled a large cloud of smoke from his cigarette in case you were wondering. — gc

In case you have not updated a blog article today the Word Press challenge page regarding the word “lofty” is not working today. This might be another of those unmentioned technical glitches that are from time to time overlooked.

I attribute it to the fact that it was another long weekend and no one in the upper echelons is on hand to help us.

Oh well I tech(nical) knock out happens from time to time. — gc

  1. I shouldn’t laugh at such roof work, I’ve done sillier things 🙂

  2. Sometimes a good sunny day really is the best day for repairs. Hope they got the job done and it was all nice and quiet thereafter. It sounded like a straightforward job 🙂

  3. I didn’t get on my laptop until this evening, so didn’t manage one.
