Viewing reality at a purely micro level

“I believe in everything until it’s disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it’s in your mind. Who’s to say that dreams and nightmares aren’t as real as the here and now?” ― John Lennon

Many people believe that life is similar to a game of chess. Things are either black or white. The board offers a certain number of options. A timer begins at birth. Strategies and tactics when successfully employed lead to success . There are winners and losers. When your king is cornered the game is over. But life as we all know it is filled with gray areas and those are the experiences that make it interesting and challenging. More so than a simple game of chess. — gc

  1. Love your set up with the wooden figure on chessboard!
    And your analogy is great!
We sometime use the chess analogy to remind us that god is in control and all that – not to preach here – but so many times it feels like he leads us strategically for what we need for our lives….
    Hm
    Have s nice day
