Winter dreams are really made of this!

“The spring, summer, is quite a hectic time for people in their lives, but then it comes to autumn, and to winter, and you can’t but help think back to the year that was, and then hopefully looking forward to the year that is approaching.” — Enya

When Daylight Savings time ends we know that the holiday season is rapidly approaching and begin developing  cravings for the warmth emanating from a lit  fireplace, mom’s homemade pumpkin  pie and exciting sleigh rides on a marshmallow covering of new fallen snow. The stuff that dreams are made of. Right? Well, on the other side of the coin remember too that clearing away the snow is also part and parcel of the deal. True romantics will ignore the one argument of the drudgery and bask in the excitement of the winter season. — gc

  1. No snow for me in sunny Florida. I had a fireplace in the house we just moved from, and still don’t know why.
