Crew trusts in luck to beat blizzard

“Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement.” — Golda Meir

Thursday afternoon municipal maintenance crews found themselves in a race against time trying to complete a sod operation before a forecasted blizzard dumped snow in the area. The storm arrived earlier than expected but the men finished the job with barely moments to spare. This was definitely an act of trust and determination . – gc

Quote of the week: “What is true is already so. Owning up to it doesn't make it worse. Not being open about it doesn't make it go away. And because it's true, it is what is there to be interacted with. Anything untrue isn't there to be lived. People can stand what is true, for they are already enduring it.” ― Eugene T. Gendlin, Focusing

    • Thankfully it waa short term situation. It was a wet snow and when the temps lingered above the freezing point it was lessened in severity by mid week. November is the snow season here. It’s always a good practice to carry a snow brush when driving. Enjoy the day. 🙂
