This family passionate about fishing

“Persistence is incredibly important. Persistence proves to the person you’re trying to reach that you’re passionate about something, that you really want something.” — Norah O’Donnell

This dedicated mother and her two children stationed themselves at the end of this small marina on Saturna Island every day for a few hours trying to not only catch fish that nibbled on their fish hooks but also acquire a respect for the sport. Her husband, an avid fisherman who works on Vancouver Island, was planning a fishing trip for them that coming weekend and she wanted to know the ins and the outs of the sport. Quote of the week: “What is true is already so. Owning up to it doesn't make it worse. Not being open about it doesn't make it go away. And because it's true, it is what is there to be interacted with. Anything untrue isn't there to be lived. People can stand what is true, for they are already enduring it.” ― Eugene T. Gendlin, Focusing
