Putting a little zing in your dog’s day

“Such short little lives our pets have to spend with us, and they spend most of it waiting for us to come home each day. It is amazing how much love and laughter they bring into our lives and even how much closer we become with each other because of them.” ― John Grogan

Hound Hill on Saturna Island B.C. is the place that caters to your dog’s social needs. Many folks bring their dogs with them and leave their pet alone in the vehicle while they shop for groceries, run other errands and generally socialize with their friends at a cafe. Hound Hill offers your pet the opportunity to sip some cold water, relieve its physical needs and then be pampered by pet friendly attendees. This makes your pet a lot less anxious and irritable. Imagine how you would feel if you were locked in an automobile and left to your own devices.

Have you ever noticed how many pet owners leave their dog in the car while they go about their daily business and hope that their beloved pet will somehow occupy itself until they return?

Although many owners are considerate enough to leave the car window open a crack so that fresh air will keep the dog alive they are missing the important point that dogs are social animals and need to interact with beings other than themselves.

If you are observant you will have noticed that many well-behaved dogs will start to bark and rant and rave at anyone who approaches their masters vehicle.

Many time the dog is not angry. Only trying to interact with strangers coming near them. Forget about protecting the vehicle. They are communicating as best they can…as a dog.

This tiny consideration for your pet will prove to it and you that it is man’s best friend who deserves this type of pampering and care.

    • People are lucky that their beloved pets have a forgiving side. It would be tragic to see a chihuahua chasing its master around the room because the neglectful owner did not feed it. 🙂
