First day of school always intimidating

“The fact is, that to do anything in the world worth doing, we must not stand back shivering and thinking of the cold and danger but jump in and scramble through as well as we can.” – Robert Cushing

This father and son team sat patiently on the back steps of a school waiting for the door to open. The father continued texting while his son anxiously looked about the yard scanning for other signs of life. One youngster ran past them and a few minutes later another dad and his son emerged from the back door. The two youngsters then exchanged glances that assured one another that everything would be fine. Their initial doubts and concerns replaced with confidence.

I am publishing this article in this category because the web site Challenge for September 1st “Shiver” is not working today. This is becoming a common problem with Word Press. It seems when the month changes so does the professionalism of the site. All we can really do is bite the bullet and hope that this technical difficulty will be corrected shortly.

  2. Everything was just as informative.
I will therefore continue to monitor all other courses, these stores on a private page, so I can repeat regularly.
I find the courses you so much I’m going to recommend it over my new Blog https://wieistheoherbots.wordpress.com/

  3. I moved about a lot as a kid and every first day at school filled me with terror. I totally understand this young man’s anxiety. It is a great picture.

    • Thank you. I remember running away from school the first hour of the first day, getting lost, getting scared and never trying that stunt again. My dad walked me back to school and I stuck to the program for years and years and years to follow. Enjoy the day. 🙂

    • Good morning Lois. I too got suspicious when I noticed the same count. The last time that happened I was confused. Now I decided to be a Paul Revere and let others know that a technical glitch might ruin their day. Thanks for writing. Enjoy the day. 🙂
