Faded paint provides colorful blend

“As an artist I have always tried to be faithful to my vision of life, and I have frequently been in conflict with those who wanted me to paint not what I saw but what they wished me to see.” ― Diego Rivera, My Art, My Life

This photo composition will never be exhibited in the Louvre. It does however present a momentary contrast of fading color, bright summer blossoms and the cold hard reality of a construction site bucket turned into an artistic enhancement. Such is the innocence of life.

Someone on this street construction crew must have taken a few art classes and created this Andy Warhol type of photo that innocently blends form and function with fauna and fading paint.

The weathered paint on the construction scoop added the contrast needed to enhance the green of the trees branches and the colorful bouquet of flowers dangling above the bucket.

Those splashes of color make the photo interesting if not entirely noteworthy.
