Power saw users deserve admiration

“In your goals to go the extra mile, prepare to pay an extra cost. Excellence is to be exceptional, surpassing, more competent and a step ahead with what is in your hands.” Israelmore Ayivor

Landscaping architect Elizabeth (Liz) on the right directs her associate on the precise placement of the lumber on the stand. For many such craftsman “measure twice and cut once” is key to success. The lumber is being used to hold back loose soil that heavy rainfalls have loosened.

Heavy rainfall the past few weeks have loosened soil and floated it directly onto my outdoor patio. Mounds of muck and uprooted lawn found a resting place in the middle of this concrete covered section of my unit.

The suite is an end unit and the outlay of the landscape sloped the lawn outside the area in an almost 45 degree angle.

The monsoon like rain showers created mini lawn slides and the rising water level though small created significant problems for me.

This past week Elizabeth and her outdoor maintenance crew created a permanent solution to my slippery problem.

The lumber will not only hold back the mud and other debris but also buttress the lawn itself.

A tip of the hat to all those folks who competently and creatively use such power implements in the performance of their jobs.
