“Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, it’s at the end of your arm, as you get older, remember you have another hand: The first is to help yourself, the second is to help others.” — Audrey Hepburn.

The man in the photo above realizes after a short period of futile struggling that he has bitten off more than he can chew. He needs help loading this bike onto the truck. A passing motorist seeing his struggle parked his car by the curb, walked over and helped the man. That was a modern-day miracle for sure.

Modern day good Samaritans are out there these days and in plentiful numbers. The cynicism of the times might blind you to this fact but the reality of their miraculous interventions would hold up in any court of law.

These helpful hands are ready to assist and demand no personal recognition for their intervention. Many folks call them angels while others see them as blessings.

The man in the photo above was struggling to get the motorcycle onto the back of the pickup truck. After a short period of time he realized his efforts were in vain and asked passersby by for a helping hand. He had no luck with his pleas for help.

A car belonging to a local driving school pulled up to the curb. The instructor was teaching a student how to parallel park. Both he and the female student saw the man and the motor bike.

The instructor told the student to put the car in park and then went over to assist the man with the oversized bike. You can see a corner of his car in the middle insert.

Both men succeeded in getting the large-sized cycle loaded and safely secured on the truck.

The men did not know one another but shook hands in a gesture of friendship after the ordeal was over.

Real life heroes and angels are out there waiting to assist.
