No easy trick to change large mall sign

“Sometimes if you want to see a change for the better, you have to take things into your own hands.” — Clint Eastwood

This large shopping mall sign had not been serviced or inspected for a few years. Members of work crew fight blustery wind conditions to remove it from its stand and replace it with a new updated version.

Some things in life are naturally trickier to handle and manoeuver than others.

Members of a local sign service/repair crew battled relatively strong winds today as they gently lowered a local mall sign that needed replacement.

Electrical wires and connections had to be carefully disconnected and passersby below and automotive traffic had to be detoured away from the construction site.

Interior lighting connections and spaghetti like tangles of wiring had to be secured for safe transport to the ground below.

This was no job for amateurs. The men completed the work in good time without incident or injury.

  1. We definitely have to respect and appreciate the work these men do, don’t we? Thank you gc for a good post! A lot of times we don’t appreciate how difficult someone’s job is. 🙂

    • You’re right Lois. Could you imagine those guys handling a complicated assignmentt like that. The results would be disastrous. 🙂 Thanks for writing. Have a relaxing weekend. Take care.
