“I thought about how there are two types of secrets: the kind you want to keep in, and the kind you don’t dare to let out.” ― Ally Carter, Don’t Judge a Girl by Her Cove

The fine art of conversation at some time during its existence lends itself as the perfect medium for secrets. Folks young and old, rich or poor, politician or peasant all have their fair share of secrets and seek a trusted friend to share them with. The challenge is finding the trusted partner to divulge this information.

We all at one time or another gain access to juicy bits and bytes of  information we long to share with someone else. The minute we learn a hidden truth we want to shout it from the rooftops.

Keeping a secret under wraps for most folks is a time-honored tradition. These people are able to hold the facts behind the secret well and are not plagued by waves of guilt felt by those who have less resolve than they do.

Revealing a secret to that trusted friend, associate or significant other  helps relieve the inner tension and psychic stress that accompanies the act of not spilling the beans.
