No cliffhanger for this youngster Teen rider takes bike to the edge

The Edge… there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.” —-Hunter S. Thompson

This younsgter is definitely no quitter. He made this somewhat quick stop to evaluate whether or not his bike could continue to be ridden. Afert a few minutes of hanging over the edge of this steep curb he and his friend rode away from the area.

I do not know what this youung cyclist was doing but he remained in this precarious position for about 10 minutes. Earlier he and a friend had been hopping curbs and pulling wheelies around this municipal parking lot.

He may be checking if he broke his bike’s axel.  The situation appeared to be resolved after this short evaluation period and the teen and his friend rode away from the steep concrete covered curb to possibly discover other points of interest.

There were really no cliffhangers here. Only two energetic and inquisitve youth testing their vehicles stamina against the bumps and the grinds of the real world.

The two uneasy riders rode away from the area without incident and of course “all was well with the world.”

Quote of the week: “What is true is already so. Owning up to it doesn't make it worse. Not being open about it doesn't make it go away. And because it's true, it is what is there to be interacted with. Anything untrue isn't there to be lived. People can stand what is true, for they are already enduring it.” ― Eugene T. Gendlin, Focusing
